How it works
We welcome your pre-loved Canada Goose pieces and are waiting to refresh them for their second life. Currently open to all customers in Canada and the United States.
Trade-In: Locate your item in our catalog using the style number on the tag. We provide a range of what you might expect to receive as a credit for your trade-in garment.
Review: We will send you a prepaid shipping label to mail in your item to us. Our dedicated team of experts will then assess the condition of your garment.
A few things to keep in mind
Currently we are accepting all outerwear and clothing, including parkas, bombers, and vests. Check the (@modal) before initiating a trade-in.
We only accept trade-in items through mail-in. Trade-ins in-store will not be accepted.
Once your gift card has been issued, your item cannot be returned.
How does the trade-in program by mail work?
You may mail in any eligible items to the program. After you start the trade-in process, you will receive a prepaid shipping label to send your items. It will then be assessed for eligibility and condition. You will get a gift card to spend at generations.canadagoose.ca, canadagoose.com, or at any Canada Goose store.
What items are accepted for trade-in?
Currently we are accepting all outerwear and clothing, including parkas, bombers, and vests. Check the list below eligible items. We hope to expand the program in the future to include our full range of products so please stay tuned.

Where can I trade-in my used Canada Goose items?
At this time, we only accept trade-in items through mail-in. Trade-ins in-store will not be accepted.
How is gift card credit determined?
Our team of product experts review your items for eligibility and assess their condition against four different grades: Excellent, Very Good, Good, and Fair. Depending on the grade, you will receive up to 60% of the retail value of your item.
How long will it take to receive my gift card credit?
Once you have mailed in your trade-in items, it will take about 10 days for us to assess the conditions of the products and determine a gift card credit.
Can my items be returned if I'm not satisfied with the credit I receive?
Unfortunately, items will not be returned unless they are deeemed ineligible or unsellable. As part of the trade-in journey online, you will be able to view an estimated range of how much you will receive for your items, so please make sure you are comfortable with the estimates before sending in your products.
If the item contains sentimental value to you, please ensure you'd like to part with it before trading in.
Will my item be returned if it’s not accepted?
If for any reason your item is not eligible for our trade-In program it will be shipped back to you without charge.
