How It Works
Send back eligible Canada Goose items for us to refresh them for a second life. Once your item has been accepted, you will receive a gift card to use towards your next purchase online or in-store. If the item is ineligible, it will be returned back to you.
Currently open to all customers in Canada and the United States.
Confirm Eligibility
We currently accept select Canada Goose Outerwear and Clothing. Locate your item in our Trade-In Catalog to check if it’s eligible and view your estimated trade-in credit.
Send It In
Once you’ve confirmed your item is eligible, you’ll receive a shipping label to send it to us. A $25 fee will be deducted from your trade-in value to cover shipping and handling.
Get Rewarded
If your item is approved after inspection, you’ll receive a gift card to use in our Canada Goose stores or online at CanadaGoose.com or Generations.CanadaGoose.com.
Once a gift card has been issued, the trade-in is final and the item cannot be sent back.

How does the trade-in program by mail work?
You may mail in any eligible items to the program. After you start the trade-in process, you will receive a prepaid shipping label to send your items. A flat rate of $25 will be deducted from your trade-in value to account for shipping and handling. Items will then be assessed for eligibility and condition. You will get a gift card to spend at generations.canadagoose.ca, canadagoose.com, or at any Canada Goose store.
What items are accepted for trade-in?
Currently we are accepting select outerwear and clothing, including parkas, bombers, and vests. Check the list below for eligible items. We hope to expand the program in the future to include our full range of products so please stay tuned.

Where can I trade-in my used Canada Goose items?
At this time, we only accept trade-in items through mail-in. Trade-ins in-store will not be accepted.
How is gift card credit determined?
Our team of product experts review your items for eligibility and assess their condition against three different grades: Excellent, Very Good, and Good. Depending on the grade, you will receive a corresponding gift card credit for your item(s).
How do gift cards work?
Your gift card can be spent on canadagoose.com, generations.canadagoose.ca, or at any Canada Goose store.
How long will it take to receive my gift card credit?
Once you have mailed in your trade-in items, it will take about 10 days for us to assess the conditions of the products and determine a gift card credit.
Can my items be returned if I'm not satisfied with the credit I receive?
Unfortunately, items will not be returned unless they are deeemed ineligible or unsellable. As part of the trade-in journey online, you will be able to view an estimated range of how much you will receive for your items, so please make sure you are comfortable with the estimates before sending in your products.
If the item contains sentimental value to you, please ensure you'd like to part with it before trading in.
Will my item be returned if it’s not accepted?
If for any reason your item is not eligible for our trade-In program it will be shipped back to you without charge.
